Καλησπέρα, καλές γιορτές. Ήθελα να ρωτήσω για ενα πρόβλημα που αντιμετωπίζω αντιμετωπίζουμε όλοι μας δηλ. σχετικά με το όνομα Γκουντέριαν. Στην ελληνική λοιπόν σελίδα (και μόνο) αναγράφεται πως ήταν Αρμενικής καταγωγής. Μάλιστα έκανα και 2 προσπάθειες (την πρώτη δικαιολόγησα με link) να το αλλάξω -μάταια αφού το ξαναάλλαξαν. Ειναι πολυ άσχημο να υπάρχουν λανθασμένες πληροφορίες. Θα ήταν ωραίο να ήταν όντως Αρμένιος, κόντρα στην Άρια φυλή, αλλά δεν συμβαίνει κάτι τέτοιο. Τι γινεται σε αυτη την περίπτωση; Πρέπει να υπομείνουμε την παραπληροφόρηση; Ή να μπαίνω να το αλλάζω συνεχώς; Και όποιος το κάνει τελευταίος; --AntZik22 (συζήτηση) 20:46, 22 Δεκεμβρίου 2024 (UTC)[απάντηση]

Transliteration of Carl Runge into Greek

Hey! Apologies for English. I was checking what's the state of the articles on Laplace–Runge–Lenz vector on different language wikipedias & I noticed that the Greek one (Διάνυσμα Λαπλάς–Ραντζ–Λεντς) uses a weird transliteration of Runge's surname. I see from the editing history that you're responsible for this transliteration, years ago. Are you sure this is correct? Carl Runge was German but your transliteration assumes an English-like pronunciation. The correct should be Ρούνγκε (I could only cross-confirm with google which recognizes "Καρλ Ρούνγκε"). Since I'm not a confirmed editor here I can't do the move myself, otherwise I would. I find it odd that nobody has corrected this in over 5 years now.... Είμαι καινούργιος στο wiki και προσπάθησα να προσθέσω εξωτερικό σύνδεσμο για πολύ καλές πληροφορίες και φωτογραφίες για την Κάρυστο και την Εύβοια από το site Amazing Evia (https://amazingevia.com/) και είδα ότι γίνεται Αναίρεση συνεισφοράς απο διάφορους τελευταία από τον χρήστη CubicStar. Την ίδια ώρα που υπάρχουν σύνδεσμοι σε πολλές καταχωρήσεις από άλλα παρόμοια site της Εύβοιας με πολύ χειρότερο περιεχόμενο, που μάλιστα δεν είναι καν δικό τους, ανεβασμένα κανονικά. Θέλετε να με ενημερώσετε αν υπάρχει κάποιο πρόβλημα ή κάνω εγώ κάτι λάθος?

@Gpip03626 Για την φωτογραφία του χωριού μπορείτε μιας και είναι η καταγωγή σας από εκεί να βγάλετε μια φωτογραφία δικιά σας με πανοραμική άποψη ας πούμε και να την ανεβάσετε στα commons επιλέγοντας μια ελεύθερη άδεια χρήσης. Η διαδικασία είναι απλή. Την τοποθέτηση στο λήμμα μπορώ να την κάνω και εγώ ύστερα. @Gpip03626 Τώρα που το θυμήθηκα. Νομίζω ότι με αυτές ασχολείσαι ο χρήστης Serresmap. Στείλτε του ένα μήνυμα και θα σας πει πώς μπορούν να διορθωθούν οι συντεταγμένες. Όσον αφορά την φωτογραφία που θα ανεβάσετε στα commons, αυτή μπορεί να μπει στο λήμμα με δύο τρόπους: Είτε θα την βάλετε στο infobox του λήμματος, (παράμετρος εικόνα= Αρχείο ....jpg), είτε μέσω των wikidata όπου θα εμφανιστεί αυτόματα στο infobox. – Fotis A. Tech News: Editors who use the “Special characters” editing-toolbar menu can now see the 32 special characters you have used most recently, across editing sessions on that wiki; The Data Platform Engineering team has added a couple of new fields to MediaWiki History dumps to support the Temporary Accounts initiative. More updates from tech news week 05 and 06.
Product & Tech Advisory Council: The council looked at data, needs and trends to make a recommendation for the Foundation's annual plan. They recommended that improving mobile contribution experiences has the greatest potential to bring in new and unheard voices onto Wikipedia and sister projects, and improve the experience of readers and contributors most widely. They are requesting feedback and discussion.
Structured Tasks: The "Add an Image" structured task is being tested on a representative sample of Wikipedias which allows users to add an image and an appropriate caption to a Wikipedia article.
Talk page improvements: Usability improvements are being deployed on remaining wikis.

Καλησπέρα σας, είχαμε ένα λήμμα από τις 02/06/2023 και έγινε αναφορά από έναν χρήστη, μετά από μια επεξεργασία που έγινε, πως ο χώρος της Βικιπαιδείας, δεν είναι χώρος διαφήμισης. Wikipedia as a digital public good: Wikipedia has been recognized as a digital public good by the UN-endorsed Digital Public Goods Alliance.
Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) Connect: The first edition of this regional community call for 2025 will be held on February 22.
Wikimedia Research Showcase: The next showcase will be about "Wikipedia Administrator Recruitment, Retention, and Attrition" and will take place on February 26 at 17:30 UTC.
Celebrate Women 2025: The Gender Organizing community in the Wikimedia Movement hosts an annual campaign every March called Celebrate Women. Conversation hours to learn about some exciting tools that can support your efforts at closing the gender gap will be held on February 25 at 14:00–16:00 UTC.
Outreachy: Wikimedia Foundation is participating in Round 30 of the Outreachy program that runs from June – August 2025. The deadline to submit projects is March 4 at 16:00 UTC .

Καλησπέρα σας. Δημήτρης Πολυχρονιάδης εδώ. Παίρνω το θάρρος να σας ενοχλήσω γιατί αντιμετωπίζω ένα τεχνικό πρόβλημα και δεν ξέρω πως να το αντιμετωπίσω. Έχω ετοιμάσει μια καινούρια σελίδα για τον σκηνοθέτη Δημήτρη Μαυρίκιο και προσπαθώ να την δημοσιεύσω όμως δε αφήνει και προκύπτει το εξής μήνυμα: No stashed content found for 0/14bfc4bf-f43f-11ef-a590-07901e077cd6. Σας ευχαριστώ για την απάντηση! Δεν έχω ακόμη καταλάβει πως να εισαγάγω ένα Πρότυπο, τι είναι η "αναζήτηση προτύπου" και πως να αναζητήσω το πρότυπο που ταιριάζει στην σελίδα που έχω φτιάξει. @NikosLikomitros: Ξανά και ξανά οι ίδιες καταστάσεις. Όσο και να εξηγούμε βελτίωση δεν υπάρχει και ούτε φαίνεται να υπάρχει και διάθεση για κάτι τέτοιο. Είναι κρίμα, αλλά... it is what it is, που λένε στο χωριό μου. Συγγνώμη, είχα έναν λογαριασμό αλλά μετά από μια εβδομάδα έχασα τους κωδικούς και η Βικιπαίδεια αποσυνδέθηκε, χωρίς να μπορώ να έχω έλεγχο του λογαριασμού. Εντάξει πιο πολύ εγώ φταίω γιατί μέσα σε όλα τα αρχεία στον υπολογιστή μου, δεν αποθήκευσα κάπου τον κωδικό. Αν μπορείτε να σβήσετε ή να κάνετε αποκλεισμό στον παλιό μου λογαριασμό θα το εκτιμούσα. Καλησπέρα σας .. Θέλω να φτιάξω ένα (βιογραφικό) ενός προπονητή ,έχω κάνει την αρχή απλά δεν γνωρίζω πως θα προσθέσω κάποια βασικά πράγματα . Global Trends 2025: As part of annual planning, we identify a list of global trends that will impact the Wikimedia movement, such as changes in how and where people search for and contribute information online, the rise of misinformation and disinformation in online spaces, and evolving regulation of online information providers.
Wikimania 2025: Apply now to speak at Wikimania 2025 whether to lead a workshop, host a panel, present a poster, or showcase a tool demonstration. Submit your session by March 31 anywhere on earth. If you're interested reviewing proposals for Wikimania 2025 and helping shape the program, you can fill out a short form to apply to be a program reviewer by 17 March.
WikiConference North America 2025: Scholarship applications are now open until April 4. This conference will take place in New York City from October 16–19, 2025, under the theme “Wiki’s World Fair".
Wikimedia Enterprise and Global Advocacy at SXSW 2025: Wikimedia Enterprise is coming together with Creative Commons on March 9 for a day of conversations and panel discussions at SXSW 2025 that tackles the challenges of AI and the preservation and ethical development of open data. Global Advocacy is participating on a panel on March 8, diving into conversations about the future of the internet.
WikiCauserie: The online bi-monthly meeting aimed at bringing together the French-speaking member communities of WikiFranca will be held next on March 21 at 18:00 UTC.

Datacenter Switchover: All wikis will be in read-only mode for a few minutes for a datacenter server switchover on March 19 starting at 14:00 UTC for up to 30 minutes.
Tech News: The wikimedia.org portal has been updated – and is receiving some ongoing improvements – to modernize and improve the accessibility of our portal pages. It now has better support for mobile layouts, updated wording and links, and better language support. More updates from tech news week 09 and 10.
Wikimedia Recommendation API: We will be removing the recommendation API from the current offerings after March 31. This API is no longer used by newer versions of the Wikipedia Android Mobile application, which was its sole user.
Wikifunctions: We deployed and tested one of our main milestones for this quarter: the ability to get the right Lexeme given a Wikidata Item, or, put simpler, to get the right word from a thing.
Wikimedia Apps: We are inviting users to help improve Wikipedia mobile app's reading and editing experiences in offline or limited internet use. We will organize focus groups to discuss these experiences in more detail. Share your thoughts and help improve the app by joining the discussion.

Women’s History Month: Wikimedia Foundation is running a campaign to spotlight some of the Wikimedians working to close the gender gap on Wikimedia projects. The campaign, Knowledge is human. Knowledge is her., is aimed at reaching external audiences in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Wikimedia Research Showcase: "Gender Gaps" will be the featured theme for the next research showcase taking place on March 19 at 16:30 UTC.
